Article 1 (General Provisions)
① Personal information refers to information about a living individual, which includes details such as name and resident registration number that can identify the individual. This also includes information that, although it cannot identify a specific individual on its own, can be easily combined with other information to do so.
② The Bitgaram International Electric Power Technology Expo (hereinafter referred to as the “Secretariat”) places great importance on the protection of customers’ personal information and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and the Standard Personal Information Protection Guidelines. Through this Privacy Policy, the Secretariat informs customers of how their personal information is used and for what purposes, as well as what measures are being taken to protect it.
③ The Secretariat makes this Privacy Policy publicly available on the main page of the BIXPO website so that customers can easily access it at any time.
④ Through the Privacy Policy, the Secretariat provides guidance so that data subjects can review their personal information.
⑤ The Secretariat has established procedures necessary for amending the Privacy Policy to ensure continuous improvement. When the Privacy Policy is revised, a version number or other identifiers will be assigned so that customers can easily recognize the changes.
Article 2 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
① The BIXPO website collects personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than those listed below, and if the purpose of use changes, the Secretariat will take necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)
The Secretariat uses customers’ personal information only for a limited period as prescribed. When a customer requests membership withdrawal or withdraws consent for the use of their personal information, or when the purpose of use is achieved or the retention period expires, the relevant personal information will be destroyed without delay.
① Personal information collected at the time of membership registration is retained until membership withdrawal.
However, if any of the following applies, the information will be retained until the relevant reason is resolved:
1) If an investigation or inquiry related to violation of relevant laws is ongoing, until the investigation or inquiry is concluded;
2) If there are remaining claims or debts related to the use of the BIXPO website, until such claims or debts are settled.
③ Personal information collected during information disclosure requests is retained for 3 years from the date of collection.
Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
① The Secretariat, in principle, processes personal information within the scope of the purpose stated at the time of collection and use, and does not process beyond the original purpose or provide it to third parties without prior consent from the data subject, except in the following cases.
However, items 5 through 9 apply only to public institutions:
1) When separate consent is obtained from the data subject;
2) When specifically stipulated by other laws;
3) When the data subject or their legal representative is unable to express intention or cannot be reached due to unknown address, and it is recognized that urgent protection of life, body, or property of the data subject or a third party is necessary;
4) When personal information is provided in a form that cannot identify a specific individual for statistical or academic research purposes;
5) When it is necessary to use personal information for purposes other than originally intended or provide it to third parties in order to perform duties prescribed by other laws, and the Personal Information Protection Commission has deliberated and resolved;
6) When necessary to provide information to foreign governments or international organizations for implementation of treaties or other international agreements;
7) When necessary for investigation, prosecution, and maintenance of criminal charges;
8) When necessary for court proceedings;
9) When necessary for execution of sentences, protective measures, or custody.
② Provision of personal information to third parties shall be posted on the BIXPO website’s privacy policy within 30 days after provision and for at least 10 days.

Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
① To ensure smooth processing of personal information, the Secretariat entrusts personal information processing as follows:

② When concluding a consignment contract, the Secretariat, in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, specifies in the contract or other document matters regarding the prohibition of processing personal information for purposes other than those entrusted, technical and administrative safeguards, restrictions on re-entrustment, management and supervision of the consignee, and liability for damages. Furthermore, the Secretariat supervises the consignee to ensure the safe processing of personal information.
③ In the event of changes to the details of the consignment or the consignee, this will be disclosed without delay through this Personal Information Processing Policy.
Article 6 (Rights, Obligations, and Exercise Methods of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives)
① Customers may access or correct their registered personal information at any time. If a customer using a membership service wishes to access or correct their personal information, they may do so directly by clicking "Edit Member Information" or by contacting the Personal Information Protection Manager or other staff member in writing, by phone, or by email. We will take action without delay.
② Customers wishing to access, correct, delete, or suspend the processing of their personal information must submit a Personal Information Access, Correction, Deletion, or Processing Suspension Request Form (Appendix 8 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Personal Information Protection Act) to KEPCO. ③ Customers may exercise their rights through a proxy, such as their legal representative or authorized representative. In such cases, a power of attorney (Appendix 11 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Personal Information Protection Act) must be submitted to KEPCO. [Power of Attorney]
④ When receiving a request to view, correct, delete, or suspend processing of personal information, we will verify whether the requester is the individual or a legitimate agent.
⑤ If a customer requests correction of errors in personal information, we will not use or provide the relevant personal information until the correction, deletion, or suspension of processing has been completed.
⑥ If incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, we will promptly notify the third party of the results of the correction, deletion, or suspension of processing and take steps to correct the information.
Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information)
In principle, the Secretariat destroys personal information without delay after the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. The destruction procedures and methods are as follows:
① Destruction Procedure
A. After the purpose has been achieved, the information entered by customers is transferred to a separate database and stored for a certain period of time in accordance with internal policies and other relevant laws (see Retention and Use Period) or immediately destroyed. Personal information transferred to the database will not be used for any other purpose except as required by law.
② Destruction Method
A. Personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.
B. Personal information stored in electronic files is deleted using a technical method that renders the records unrecoverable.
Article 8 (Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information)
① Establishment and Implementation of an Internal Management Plan for the Secure Processing of Personal Information
- Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) has established and is implementing an internal management plan for personal information protection to ensure the secure processing of personal information.
- Regular in-house and external training is provided to employees handling personal information on new security technologies and personal information protection obligations.
- All employees are required to sign a security pledge upon joining the company to prevent information leaks. Internal procedures are in place to audit the implementation and compliance of the personal information processing policy.
- The transfer of duties between employees handling personal information is strictly conducted in a secure manner, and accountability for personal information incidents is clearly defined both before and after joining the company.
② Access Control and Access Restriction Measures for Personal Information
- The Secretariat implements the following technical measures to ensure the security of personal information when handling customer personal information and to prevent loss, theft, leakage, alteration, or damage.
- To protect against external intrusions such as hacking, each server utilizes intrusion prevention systems and vulnerability analysis systems to ensure complete security. The Secretariat restricts access to customers' personal information to a minimum number of personnel. These personnel include:
a. Those who directly engage in marketing activities with users.
b. Those who perform personal information management tasks, such as the Personal Information Protection Manager and other staff.
c. Other personnel whose work requires the handling of personal information.
③ Application of encryption technology or equivalent measures to securely store and transmit personal information.
- Customer personal information is protected by passwords, and important data is protected by separate security features such as file and transmission data encryption or a lock function.
- The Secretariat employs a security device (SSL) that utilizes encryption algorithms to securely transmit personal information over the network.
④ Measures to maintain access records and prevent forgery and alteration in response to personal information breaches.
- Personal information and general data are not stored together, but are stored separately on separate servers.
⑤ Installation and update of security programs for personal information.
- The Secretariat takes measures to prevent damage caused by computer viruses by using antivirus programs. Antivirus programs are regularly updated, and in the event of a sudden virus outbreak, vaccines are provided as soon as they become available, preventing personal information breaches.
⑥ Physical measures, such as the establishment of storage facilities or installation of locks, for the safe storage of personal information.
- Access to computer rooms, document storage rooms, and CCTV control rooms is restricted, with special security zones designated.
⑦ The Secretariat is not responsible for incidents arising from user error or basic internet risks. Each member must properly manage their ID and password to protect their personal information and assume responsibility for doing so.
⑧ In the event of loss, leakage, alteration, or damage of personal information due to internal administrator error or technical management incidents, the Secretariat will immediately notify the customer and take appropriate measures and compensation.
Article 9 (Installation and Operation of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices and Refusal Thereof)
① The Secretariat uses "cookies" to retrieve and store customer information when necessary for the operation of the BIXPO website. Cookies are very small text files sent by the server used to operate the website to the customer's browser and are stored on the customer's computer hard drive. Customers can choose whether to allow or deny text information collection via cookies through their web browser's security settings.

B. You can either confirm each time a cookie is saved or reject all cookies through the menus provided above. However, if you reject cookie installation, you may experience difficulties using the service.
② The information collected by cookies and the purposes for which they are used are as follows:
A. Information Collected: ID, access IP address, member type, content used, and other service usage information.
B. Purpose of Use
- We provide differentiated information based on individual interests.
- We analyze access frequency and visit time for members and non-members to identify user preferences and interests, which we utilize for targeted marketing and service improvement.

The Secretariat is committed to ensuring that customers can safely access valuable information. In the event of an incident that violates the information provided to customers regarding personal information protection, the Personal Information Protection Officer assumes full responsibility. However, despite technical and administrative supplementary measures, we are not responsible for damage to information caused by unexpected incidents due to basic network risks such as hacking, or for disputes arising from posts made by visitors. Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms and conditions are intended to regulate the terms and procedures for using the 2025 Bitgaram International Power Technology Expo website, the rights and obligations between the 2025 Bitgaram International Power Technology Expo (Secretariat) and users, and other necessary matters.
Article 2 (Validity and Change of Terms and Conditions)
① The contents of the Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time without separate notice, and users may check the latest contents of the Terms and Conditions on the 2025 Bitgaram International Power Technology Expo website at any time.

- Other circumstances deemed necessary by the Secretariat.
Article 6 (Changes to Registration Information)
If the personal information provided upon registration changes, the registrant may directly update the information online or request an update from the administrator. The registrant is responsible for any issues arising from information not updated.
Article 7 (Deletion and Cancellation of Registration Information)
① If a registrant wishes to delete his/her registration information, he/she must submit a request to the secretariat via e-mail or telephone.
② If any of the following reasons apply to the registrant, the BIXPO website may delete or cancel the registration without prior notice.
- Using another person's registered ID or password without permission
- Engaging in acts that cause or may cause harm to others
- Planning or executing acts that undermine public order or morals, such as promoting gambling or posting vulgar or pornographic material
- Unjustly damaging another person's information processed, stored, or transmitted through an information and communications network, or collecting, storing, infringing, stealing, or leaking another person's personal information
- Posting unnecessary or unauthorized advertisements, promotional materials, or sending junk or spam mail
- Sending advertising emails against the recipient's explicit refusal to receive them
- Engaging in other illegal or improper acts, including acts prohibited by relevant laws, including the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc.

Article 8 (Service Hours)
① Services not directly supported by the Administrator are available 24 hours a day, year-round, unless there are special operational or technical difficulties. However, services may be interrupted due to natural disasters, system maintenance, or other reasons.
② Services directly provided by the Administrator are, in principle, provided during the working hours for the 2025 Bitgaram International Electric Power Technology Expo website.
Article 9 (Restrictions and Suspension of Service Provision)
The BIXPO website may restrict or suspend service provision, in part or in full, in the following cases. The BIXPO website is not responsible for any problems arising from service suspension.
- In the event of a natural disaster, national emergency, change in government budget, or other force majeure, or when there is a risk of such occurrence.
- In the event of maintenance, construction, or failure of service equipment.
- In the event of service disruption due to a surge in service usage.
- In the event of a telecommunications service suspension by a telecommunications service provider.
- In any other case deemed necessary by the Secretariat.
Article 10 (Links)
The BIXPO website may provide links to third-party websites or materials. Since the BIXPO website has no control over such sites and materials, the BIXPO website assumes no responsibility for the content, advertisements, products, etc. of linked sites and materials, except in special cases where the BIXPO Secretariat is found to have acted intentionally or grossly negligently.
Article 11 (User Obligations)
① Users must comply with relevant laws and regulations, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, the user guide and notices posted on the service, and other notices from the Secretariat. Users must not engage in any acts that interfere with the Secretariat's operations.
② Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, translate, publish, broadcast, or otherwise use information obtained through the service without the Secretariat's prior consent, nor may they provide such information to others.
③ Registrants must maintain the security of their ID and password at their own risk and are fully responsible for all consequences arising from the use of their ID and password. If any problems arise, such as unauthorized use of their ID or password, they must immediately report it to the Secretariat. Furthermore, the ID and password granted to them may not be resold or transferred to others.
④ When registering to use the service, users must provide current and complete information, and must immediately update any changes to the information provided.
⑤ Users may not engage in commercial activities using the information and services provided by the Secretariat.
Article 12 (Obligations of the 2025 Bitgaram International Electric Power Technology Expo)
① The BIXPO website always strives to ensure that users can receive stable services.
② The BIXPO website complies with laws and regulations related to the operation and maintenance of services, such as the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and the Framework Act on Telecommunications.
Article 13 (Protection of Personal Information)
① The BIXPO website uses registrant information solely for the purpose of operating or improving events.
② The BIXPO website does not disclose acquired member information to third parties without the member's consent.
③ The BIXPO website takes users' personal information very seriously.
Article 14 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
① The BIXPO website may provide personal information, such as a user's name and email address, to third parties within the scope permitted by law in the following cases:
- When a user violates relevant laws while using the service and is requested to provide information by investigative agencies or other government agencies.
- When necessary for information protection work, such as verifying a user's violation of laws, violations of these Terms and Conditions, or other misconduct.
- When required by other laws.
Article 15 (Exemption Clause)
① The BIXPO website is not responsible for the user's failure to obtain the expected benefits from the 2025 Bitgaram International Electric Power Technology Expo website services or for any profits or losses arising from the selection or use of service materials.
② The BIXPO website is not responsible for any disruption in the use of the 2025 Bitgaram International Electric Power Technology Expo website due to the user's fault.
③ The BIXPO website is not responsible for any problems that arise between users or between users and third parties in relation to transactions of goods or money through the 2025 Bitgaram International Electric Power Technology Expo website services.
Article 16 (Jurisdiction)
In the event of a lawsuit arising from a dispute related to the use of this service, the court with jurisdiction over the location of the 2025 Bitgaram International Electric Power Technology Expo shall be the court of jurisdiction.
