Introduction
Co-hosted by the World Bank and KEPCO, the “World Bank Energy Forum 2025” is part of an annual forum series that began in 2017. This year’s theme, Korea–World Bank Partnership on Energy Transition, highlights collaborative efforts to accelerate clean energy initiatives. The forum consists of two sessions, and will convene representatives from Korean ministries, public institutions, and private sector leaders in energy. Session I will introduce the World Bank’s procurement framework and environmental and social requirements, along with a firm’s experience working with the Bank. Session II will focus on leveraging Korea–World Bank collaboration for energy transition in East Asia and the Pacific, featuring KEPCO’s project insights and the World Bank’s regional support. A panel discussion will explore challenges and opportunities in energy transition. We warmly invite all those interested in energy transition to join and participate in the forum.
